The Boardwalk Trail At Lake Drummond Is The Most Enchanting Trail In Virginia

This trail, while it’s not particularly challenging, measures nearly 9 miles roundtrip. So if you’re looking for an adventure that will give you the perfect opportunity to explore southeastern Virginia, you’ll want to lace up your walking shoes and head for the Washington Ditch Boardwalk Trail.

Despite its name, the Great Dismal Swamp is an exceptionally beautiful, albeit haunting, natural area with hundreds of acres to explore.
