This one particular set of trails gives visitors a chance to see Louisiana’s wetlands like never before, and you’ll have the opportunity to see tons of wildlife. This area is great for kids, so bring the whole family out to enjoy the breathtaking views.
When it comes to scenic trails, few are as impressive as the trails at the Barataria Preserve.

The boardwalk and dirt trails allow you to venture into areas of Louisiana’s wetlands that you just wouldn’t be able to otherwise.

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to encounter scores of wildlife.

If you take the Bayou Coquille Trail all the way to the end, you’ll come across some spectacular views.

When you get to the Marsh Overlook Trail, you’ll climb up a footbridge that leads to amazing views.
