“The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good.” Remember watching those kids tour Willy Wonka’s factory and wanting to know how your favorite candies were really made? Well, now you know we have a chocolate factory of our own right here in Kansas! (Though it’s not as colorful, or filled with oompa loompas either.) It’s still a magical place, thanks to all the wonderful machines that make the candy perfect almost every time.

Welcome to the MARS factory in Topeka, Kansas. Inside the factory, you’ll find clean, white…everything. The whole facility has to maintain a level of cleanliness in order to keep our precious chocolate safe from contaminants.

Rivers of color flow as the m&ms get all mixed up and packaged into packets, bags, and then boxes.

In addition to m&ms, they also produce snickers bars here as well. My favorite! This factory can produce around 8 million mini snickers every day!

These guys are made right here in Kansas, and sent all over. I wonder if I’ve eaten Kansas m&ms yet?
