googlemaps.com It all started back in the 1920s when Beulah Ledner began baking out of her own kitchen in Uptown. She was a quick hit and moved her baking operation over to a new location on Claiborne, and became known as the “Doberge Queen of New Orleans.”

In 1946, Beulah sold her business to Joe Gambino.

Gambino’s quickly expanded to multiple locations around southern Louisiana.
