Here in Minnesota, we have haunted restaurants, hotels, graveyards, asylums, and more. These eerie spots draw visitors looking for a creepy time — especially during fall, the spookiest time of year. But there are some lesser known haunted spots all across Minnesota. One of our favorites is a haunted playground that will send shivers down your spine. Take a look:

While it’s probably the last place you’d expect a haunting, there’s a playground in Long Lake, Minnesota, that may be home to one. It’s called Holbrook Park.

This little-known park is charming enough, with a baseball field, skating rinks, a picnic area, and more — including a playground.

At a distance, this playground looks like any other: swings, a slide, and ample areas to climb. But it may hold a creepy secret.

Rumor has it, Holbrook Park is home to the ghost of a little girl who, if you get too close, vanishes into thin air.

If you stay long enough, she’ll return — but won’t be alone. This time, she brings her father with her.

While this may seem almost sweet, take warning. Instead of vanishing, the father is said to attack when approached. Best stay back.

Though we wouldn’t advise it, you can try to experience this phenomenon for yourself.
