They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and that may be true. A hearty breakfast can fuel you up for the day ahead… but how about a 15-egg omelet? Here’s a restaurant that serves one, and we bet you can’t eat it all.
When you’re craving delicious breakfast food, you’ll want to head on over to The Hungry Monkey. It’s located at 124 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840.

The Hungry Monkey serves breakfast and lunch. We highly recommend the stuffed monkey bread French toast. It’s stuffed with your choice of apples, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, or peaches.

If you’re really hungry, and up for a challenge, place your order for the King Kong. It’s made with 15 eggs, chorizo, veggies, and four kinds of cheese, then served alongside home fries with two slices of toast.

If you can finish the entire plate of food in just 60 minutes or less, it’s free and you get a t-shirt so you can proudly proclaim your accomplishment to the world. If you fail, you’ll pay $29.95 and can hang your head in shame.

Many people attempt this challenge…

…but only a few are victorious.

Check the chalkboard on the wall to see how many have taken the challenge, how many have succeeded and how many have failed. This photo was taken in 2017, so the numbers have surely gone up quite a bit.
