Things kick off Friday with the Parade of Lights heading down Main Street at 6 p.m.

The parade leads to the famous talking tree on the corner of Main Street and Bow Street.

Then, settle in for the Holly Jolly movie night begins at 7 p.m. at L.L. Bean.

Visitors can also enjoy free cookies and hot chocolate at the Freeport Community Center beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Throughout the weekend, Santa will be on hand to talk Christmas wishlists from kids. And, he may even reveal some secrets about living in the North Pole.
