Legos are as much a classic as peanut butter and jelly. Just like the tasty sandwich, the timeless building blocks can be enjoyed by people of all ages. And if you’re looking for the perfect place to enjoy some Legos, look no further than The Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum. In addition to a variety of exhibits, displays, and train rides, the museum houses the largest Lego display in Mississippi…and it’s as magical as it sounds. Take a look:
This is The Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum. It’s open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., and is free to visit (but donations are accepted).

A true hidden gem, many residents don’t know it exists, which means they also don’t know that it houses a HUGE Lego display.

In fact, the museum holds the record of having the largest Lego railroad display in the entire state. The expansive (and equally impressive) display is made up of almost two million pieces!

And the collection is just slated to get bigger thanks to the museum’s Master Builder, Scott Sanburn, who’s been building the displays for over 35 years. (Job envy anyone?!)

Visitors from all over the world travel to the museum to see the enormous display, which includes a variety of themes.

The Lego display is no doubt a reason to visit the museum, but it’s not the only reason. There are also 85 running model trains and interactive exhibits – and that’s just indoors.

Outside of the museum, you’ll find more displays and…
