The small city of Macedonia in northeast Ohio hosts an annual festival that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped foot into the beloved Wizard of Oz family film, filled with friendly characters, flying monkeys and ruby red slippers. This is one truly unique festival you don’t want to miss.
One magical weekend in September, Longwood Park in Macedonia transforms into Emerald City, with the yellow brick road leading the way.

Admission includes entertainment at both the Emerald City Stage and the Munchkinland Theater. Tickets are $9.50 for the full weekend, $7.50 for 2-day admission and $5.00 for 1-day admission.
