Sometimes, a getaway in nature is just what you need.

Here in Ohio, we have several beautiful towns that deserve a second look. However, between the gorgeous scenery, frontier history and nature activities, the small town of Loudonville just might have more outdoor attractions than any other place in the state. You’ll find it tucked away in the heart of Mohican Country—and one visit here will having you coming back year-round.

With a population of about 2,600, this small town is the perfect place for a quiet day trip or weekend away in nature.

Outdoor activities are especially popular here.
