To say our state is full of stunning scenery would be a huge understatement, as the majority of us have beautiful views from our own backyards. But recently INSIDER compiled a list of the most breathtaking views in each state, and for Montana, the winner is the Paradise Valley.

The Paradise Valley is a major river valley of the Yellowstone River in Southwest Montana, just north of Yellowstone National Park.

Darlyn C. / TripAdvisor It’s separated from the Gallatin Valley by Bozeman Pass.

The valley was the original entrance to Yellowstone, although the park now has several more entrances.

The valley includes a little bit of everything: Mountain peaks, glacier, clear rivers, and all-around gorgeous landscape.

Paradise Valley is definitely one of the most scenic river valleys in Montana, and that’s really saying a lot.

Since the Yellowstone River runs through the valley, it’s a popular spot for fishing.

Wikipedia The river is known for its world-class fly fishing, while nearby spring creeks such as DePuy Spring Creek are also beloved fishing spots.

When you live in a state like Montana, it’s impossible to choose a spot with the best views.
