Bars are a dime a dozen in Oklahoma, but there’s one unique one in Oklahoma City that’s worth a visit. The Pump Bar is located in a former gas station from the 1920s and features a large outdoor patio with fire pits. But don’t let the fact that it’s a bar fool you into thinking the food is average; they have an incredible selection of delicious food. Check it out:

The Pump Bar opened in 2014 in an old Texaco filling station at 2425 North Walker Avenue in Oklahoma City.

The station was built in 1929 and was nicknamed “Elmer’s Texaco.” It thrived as a local hub for many years until it closed its doors in 1978. It remained closed for over three decades, until it reopened as The Pump Bar.

Outside the bar you’ll find a sprawling patio with over 9,000 sq. ft of space. They have gas fire pits, televisions, cornhole, covered tables, and more.

Many features of the old gas station still remain, including the roll-up service bay doors.

Just because it’s a bar doesn’t mean the food is lacking. They offer a variety of menu options that will impress any visitor.
