There are still places in Georgia that are pleasantly surprising no matter how many times we visit. Marble Mine hiking trail, for example, is still one of the most spectacular places visitors and residents alike can explore. However, we have one particular trail that will take visitors to a secret garden, which once there, will make them feel like they stepped onto the pages of a fairy tale.
The East Palisades Trail which runs along the banks of the Chattahoochee River is one of the best hiking opportunities in Atlanta.

Right off the parking area by the trailhead, hikers will find a beach area, which many dog owners bring their furry friends to stay cool during the summer.

Hikers are encouraged when reaching the secret garden to stand for a second in silence and listen to the hollow trunks of the bamboo gracefully sway and knock into one another.
