You may also come across Black-Chinned or Calliope Hummingbirds (the smallest breeding birds in North America) but only several have been seen in New Jersey over the last decade.The hummingbird garden is home to a lovely little gazebo and spectacular views of the Raritan Bay. It is part of a larger park with a fishing pier, walking paths, a sandy beach, and a Veteran’s Memorial.While visiting, you’ll also be just steps away from the Kearny Cottage Museum (focused on the area’s maritime history) and the Proprietary House (a former Royal Governor’s Mansion).
