It might be common knowledge for many Georgians by now that we have one small town which has been dubbed the “Watermelon Capital of the World”. And what better time to celebrate the Watermelon Capital than smack dab in the middle of summer. For visitors looking for a bit of a refresher, or those nearby who want to celebrate all things watermelon, we have the perfect place to do so.

Every June, the small town of Cordele, Georgia celebrates their Watermelon Days Festival for all to enjoy.
