About 30 minutes away is the amazing Monument Rocks formation that’s a must-see for any Kansas nature lover.

Even if you’ve seen Monument Rocks before, it only gets better. Lake Scott State Park is another local nature area that’s full of places to explore.

There’s plenty of area to hike, with 1,020 acres of wildlife area and even a natural spring that feeds the lake.

You can also view bison from up close, protected by a wire fence that keeps you separated.

Spend every day exploring the great outdoors while you’re in Scott City, or spend a day exploring the town instead. It’s just so refreshing having all these options for nature nearby.

There’s never a boring day here, when you can just head over to Lake Scott State Park or another local natural attraction to make your day amazing.
