Instead of booking a flight to Brazil or the Maldives Islands, you can always make a trip to Wyoming. Here, you’ll find an enchanting glacial lake that’s among the clearest in the world.
When the list of the clearest waters in the world was compiled, Wyoming’s own Jenny Lake made the top 10.

Located near the Tetons in Grand Teton National Park, it’s a lake that was formed 12,000 years ago when glaciers carved massive rocks into what is known today as Cascade Canyon.

Jenny Lake is one of only two lakes in Grand Teton National Park that allow motorboats. You can bring your own to take a leisurely cruise across the water or book passage on one of the scenic tours.

Researchers studied the water quality of Jenny Lake in 2005, along with the other bodies of water in Grand Teton National Park. They found the waters in those lakes to be astonishingly pure, unblemished and unaffected by water or air pollution.
