This stone marker sets the spot where William Penn established the borders along Pennsylvania, Maryland and our very own Delaware.

William Penn first set this boundary in the 1890s, and after much debate, it was decided that the PA, MD, and DE borders would be set based on the radius of a 12 mile circle.
