Tucked away in the Kisatchie National Forest, the Wild Azalea Trail is the longest hiking trail in the state.
AllTrails Clocking in at around 31 miles, the trail is located just southwest of Alexandria in the Evangeline Unit of the Calcasieu Ranger District of the Kisatchie National Forest.
The out-and-back trail has trailheads at the Woodsworth Town Hall and the Valentine Lake Recreation Area.
