But once you’re done exploring inside The Wild Center, you’ll want to visit one of our favorite playgrounds at the other end of the parking lot.

An addition to The Wild Center that opened up to the public back in 2015, The Wild Walk is a treetop trail unlike any other in New York State.

Starting off at the ground, the boardwalks gradually elevate you to the treetops and give you amazing views of the mountains.

Along the way, you’ll find opportunities to look for wildlife as you walk through and around the cones of The Wild Walk.

You’ll get to explore the different sections of the walk like The Snag, featuring three swinging bridges that will lead you to a treehouse and hollowed out tree that has its own spiral staircase.

The highest point of The Wild Walk is the Eagle’s Nest, taking you an extra 8-feet above the rest of the walk.
