Ever since the Carolina to the north of us announced their first annual Bigfoot Festival, we’ve been anticipating (hoping!) we’d get our own festival here in South Carolina to celebrate our very own bipedal beast: the Lizardman. And guess what? It’s happening THIS JUNE!
First, a little history, in case you need a quick review of the Lizardman.
YouTube/TheLipTv The Lizardman rose to fame in the 1980s after stalking the communities in and around Bishopville, South Carolina. Several eyewitness accounts all described the beast in similar fashion. In addition, the Lizardman caused some property damage that was pretty darn claw-like. Based on this information, the locals and authorities have come to the conclusion that Lizardman is real. The last known sighting was a couple of years ago.
He was first reported as being spotted next to Scape Ore Swamp near Bishopville.

It’s set for June 8 -10 in Bishopville, at various locations depending on the event and day.

But that’s not all… UFO and other paranormal experts will be on hand, too.

Saturday’s event at the festival is an all day Comic Con and will bring out costumes of all varieties. Maybe even some Lizardmans? We can only hope!
