Nashville has new restaurants popping up all the time, all over the city. Luckily, there are the old tried-and-true staples that have been holding down our Nashville neighborhoods for years. And when it comes to pizza? There’s a few spots that have gotten it so right that they’ve been around for thirty years or more! But they serve up pizza by the slice along with other cafeteria-style pasta dishes that will blow your mind. Expect a long wait because this place has been popular since it opened in 1999. 897 Elm Hill Pike.

We couldn’t find when it opened, but its established style has a reputation in the city for being one of the best old-school parlors around. 905 Church St.
