Sure, Louisiana may not see the incredible fall foliage that our northern states are known for, but there are still plenty of places where you can do some leaf peeping. We’ll keep this road trip to the northern part of the state, and under two hours so you can easily knock it out in a day. You won’t want to wait too long to take this road trip, so be sure to carve out some time in the next couple of weekends for peak colors.

If you’re trying to stick to the two-hour drive, then just visit the first three attractions on the list. For an epic weekend, consider heading on down to the other attractions on the list, which would take you about six hours in total driving time. Luckily, all of these parks offer cabins and camping opportunities, so you could bring a tent and have a fabulous adventure.
