The Rabbit Lake Trail lies in the Chugach State Park. It is open for hiking, biking and backpacking from April through the fall.

There is no shade along the path, so be prepared for a sunny trek. But, you’ll be so ready for a dip in the cold water by the time you reach the end, it’ll all be worth it.

Dogs are permitted on the trail as long as they are on a leash. The whole trail is rocky, however, so dogs may need hiking boots if their paws are tender.
