There’s no doubt that the trails at Pinnacle Mountain State Park are a hiker’s dream, after all this is one of the most iconic state parks in Arkansas.

Besides the wide variety of activities throughout the park, the area also houses the Arkansas Arboretum. The sprawling 80-acre site is a large preservation effort devoted to Arkansas’ flora.

The featured trail in the arboretum is the Arkansas Trail. This trail is unfortunately an overlooked hike at the state park. It may not have quite the pizzazz of the summit trails but it’s well worth the jaunt.
