In 1891, Mr. J. B. Moss erected a beautiful home that resembled the castles he had seen across Europe in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Today, the beautiful home is now a Mexican Restaurant. The home was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Barbosa in 1974 and after extensive remodeling they opened Barbosa’s Castillo that same year.
