Kansas is just one of those states that loves to take its favorite holiday and make it a huge celebration. Of course, that means there’s more fun to be had everywhere you go! Every year, this one town in Kansas goes all-out for Halloween, with a whole week’s worth of fun in the spirit of the season. This century-old Halloween Wonderland isn’t something you’ll want to miss out on.
That celebration of course, is Neewollah right in Independence, Kansas.

It all started in 1919 to provide positive activities so that pranks happened less often. Of course, who wouldn’t ditch a toilet paper roll for a chance to be in such a cool parade?

Oh, did I mention there was a carnival too? These rides are the icing on the cake for anyone who wants to experience the whole celebration.

They have three different parades to see, a chili cook-off, a hometown musical, and of course the Queen Neelah pageant.

It’s a great place to bring your friends and family, and there’s plenty to do no matter what your age might be.
