Relaxing in the water on a hot summer day is the best way to beat the heat. Here in the Show Me State, there are some great water parks to choose from. However, if you want to spend the day lounging on a tube in a lazy river, there is one Missouri water park you just have to visit. Hurricane Harbor is the huge water park inside the 283-acre St. Louis Six Flags theme park. It features tons of amazing attractions and is included in your admission to Six Flags.

Grab a tube and set sail on Gulley Washer Creek. This lazy river is 1,100 feet and is the longest in the state.

You’ll love cooling off in these calm, crisp waters. Let the current do the work, while it carries you through the water park.

You’ll get a great view of the water slides from the lazy river. After a few hours, if you’ve worked up enough courage to take the plunge, it’s just a short walk to the tubes. Take one of the four six-story tube slides quickly to the splash pool below.

After walking across the hot concrete, hop back into Gulley Washers Creek and cool off under the waterfalls and geysers.

Rent a tube to reduce your wait time. You can get a solo tube or a double and ride around with your closest pal. Free tubes are available at those rides that require them, but you have to return them once you exit the rides.

If the lazy river isn’t exciting enough, no worries, there are still 8 thrilling attractions that you will thrill you! Take the Bonzai Pipeline, a 290 foot extreme looping body slide for the ultimate joy ride.
