This charming eatery was once a stagecoach stop. And while it’s a seasonal business, meaning they take winters off, we’re giving them a shout-out now to make sure every possible Montanan adds this experience to their 2019 calendars.

Ekstrom’s Stage Station is located at 81 Rock Creek Rd. in the tiny town of Clinton.

The main building, which is the restaurant, is more than 150 years old.

The building was originally the Birmingham Flats Station, but these days, it’s used to cook some seriously scrumptious food.

The menu here consists mainly of classic American comfort food, and it’s delicious.
