Fresh seafood in South Carolina, especially along the coast, is easy to come by. But anyone who’s eaten at this remote roadside seafood joint knows that even fresh seafood isn’t all the same. Yet, somehow Flowers Seafood manages to get the best of the best – and they sell it two ways: made-to-order cooked and ready to eat, or you can get it from the market and take it home to include in one of your own home-cooked seafood feasts.

Flowers isn’t the most centrally located place, but people regularly fill up the parking lot to stop and refuel on their delectable seafood.

In season, the soft shell crab is a delight, either all by itself or on a fresh roll.

TripAdvisor/christinajordan The shrimp po’boy sandwich is also a favorite among regulars. Locals and visitors alike can’t resist the made-to-order seafood from Flowers.

From flounder filets (yes, fresh) to shrimp, oysters and more… the food here at Flowers is SO GOOD… they don’t even have to advertise.

Thursday through Saturday, you can roll up here and get the best seafood around from Flowers Seafood TO GO. But if you just can’t wait to devour the goodness in your to-go box, then you can park yourself on one of their covered picnic tables adjacent to the food truck and dine right on the spot.
