Cuirve River State Park is a large state park just about an hour north of St. Louis. The park is perfect for hiking, horseback riding, boating, fishing, camping, and more.

Located inside the park is Lake Lincoln. This hidden lake is a great spot for boating, fishing, and swimming.

The swimming beach opened on May 25th for the season. Swimmers can hit the beach everyday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

If you’re looking for more waterfront fun, take a kayak out on the lake. If you’re 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, you can rent a kayak or paddle board for $5 an hour.

The 55 acre lake is well stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. Whether you’re casting from your boat or from the shore, you’re likely to reel in a great catch!
