It sometimes seems like St. Louis and Kansas City get the best of everything. These cities have major theaters, professional sports teams, shopping malls, restaurants and more. However, what they don’t have is the slow paced charm of small town life. While you can find green space to enjoy in the city, nothing compares to the sprawling state parks that you’ll find spread out between our two largest cities. One tiny town in Missouri seems to have it all. You’ll find lots of opportunities for outdoor recreation, antique shopping, and great dining in Macon, Missouri.
With a population of just over 5,000, Macon is the perfect size for a thriving small town. You’ll find that Macon has everything you need and just a bit more!
