Upon this hike, you’ll be guided by a ranger and learn about the animals that inhabit the White Sands, and how they thrive.

The term “hiking trail” usually invokes an image of dirt paths, but if you’ve ever been to the White Sands National Monument, you’ll know this isn’t your typical hiking trail. Here you’ll hike upon the sand dunes for an easy stroll.

Hiking under the full moon glow is a peaceful and serene experience you can’t find elsewhere.

This hike takes place once a month, the night before the full moon. It costs $8 for adults, and $4 for kids 15 and younger.
