Kansas is full of prairie, and those prairies are positively full of wildflowers. Every where you turn, a flower blooms. This easy wildflower hike in Kansas is the perfect thing to do if you’d like to get out there and hike through a sea of native Kansas wildflowers. If you’ve got nothing planned for June 2nd, 2018, you should definitely head to the Lawrence/Eudora area for a hike full of little surprises.

Every year, the Kansas Land Trust leads wildflower hikes through the Akin Prairie.

This year, the Wildflower Walk starts at 10 a.m. on June 2nd, and is free to attend.
