We love everything about Ohio’s small towns, from their quaint Main Streets, to their friendly folks. Here’s a little town in Miami County that’s so adorable that it might just steal your heart forever.

The little town of Tipp City was founded in 1840. While it got its start as a rough town with a vibrant red-light district, today it’s a quaint, quiet little hamlet that’s home to around 9,700 people.

The town was originally named Old Tippecanoe City after president William Henry Harrison, whose Presidential campaign slogan was “Tippecanoe and Tyler Too!” Since another city had already claimed the name Tippecanoe, the town changed over to Tipp City in 1938.
