Many people may have been anxious to do their holiday shopping on Black Friday or even Cyber Monday, but if you thought that the deals were over – think again. According to the travel website Hopper, they’ve narrowed down the best shopping day for travelers – and it’s Travel Deal Tuesday.

Since first identifying this underrated trend, Hopper has named the annual date ‘Travel Deal Tuesday’ or simply ‘Travel Tuesday’.
Hopper attributes the increase in airfare deals based on airlines seeing a decline in travel after the holidays, specifically, once Thanksgiving passes. Hopper is known for using notifications to let users know when a breaking airfare sale has been found, stating that last year they sent out more notifications on Travel Tuesday than both Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined!
