Few people realize that one of the oldest theme parks in the country is hiding right here in Maryland. Trimper’s Rides in Ocean City began back in 1893 and has since been welcoming families from near and far for a full day of family fun. Whether you have a weakness for haunted houses, classic roller coaster rides, or carnival food, you owe it to yourself to check out this antique boardwalk theme park.
Tucked away in the inlet of South First Street awaits a classic Maryland experience that has stood the test of time. Trimper’s Rides was established in 1893 when it opened as the Windsor Resort.
