South Dakota’s weird and wacky attractions are spread throughout the state. We’ve got a huge drugstore that features 5 cent coffee and free water, a petrified wood park, and even a corn palace. The next time you’re in Mitchell to visit the Corn Palace, you might want to check out another unique attraction – Valtiroty Shiloh’s Tabernacle. It’s located at 615 N. Main Street.
Valtiroty Shiloh’s Tabernacle looks like a medieval castle, but it’s actually a weird, wacky museum of sorts. The owners call it a spiritual, educational and recreational park.

The displays were all made by the owner, and they’re both charming and informative. This scene depicts Abraham’s well in Beersheba, Israel.
