It’s almost that time of year again, Marylanders! The annual sunflowers at McKee-Beshers Wildlife Management Area will soon be at their peak, so mark your calendar and enjoy a day of frolicking among the fields of gold.

Every year, thousands of sunflowers are planted among three sprawling fields at McKee-Beshers Wildlife Management Area in Poolesville.

For the 2018 season, the flowers were planted on May 3rd. They’re expected to bloom mid-July and the summery sight is sure to WOW you.
