If you didn’t already know, Arizona is filled with plenty of long-abandoned places, including many that are purportedly haunted. In addition to the long list of haunted hotels, bars, and towns, there is at least one old sheriff’s office and jail you can tour in central Arizona that is home to some spooky tales. Let’s take a look!
This is the old Gila County Sheriff’s Office and Jail, established in Globe back in 1910, two years before statehood when this area was still known as Arizona Territory.

In fact, an open catwalk leading between the courthouse and jail showcased the move towards a more proficient judicial system.
