If that’s what you have in mind, then you are going to love this farm and petting zoo we’re going to highlight today, which possesses all those qualities in an offbeat roadside attraction.

Welcome to the Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch, a secluded petting zoo and farm located just off Interstate 10 between Casa Grande and Tucson.

The ranch has been in operation since 1999 when feeding an ostrich was the primary attraction, you can still do so today, but so much more has been added to the ranch’s list of activities.

The ranch has added a long list of exotic and domesticated animals that you can watch, pet, and feed! Among those are some petting zoo favorites like goats…

…or even a chance to pet a stingray that lives in a massive pool.

The ostrich ranch is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from now through April 30. On May 1, the ranch’s summer hours take effect and the days open will be reduced to Fridays through Mondays.
