Georgia has some pretty unique festivals and events that take place during the fall months, many of which you cannot find elsewhere. I mean, have you seen the place in Georgia that turns into a pumpkin wonderland every year?! There are quite a few small towns to explore during autumn in Georgia that will bring about a sense of celebration for Halloween and everything it brings. Like this spectacular scarecrow festival in the Historic Marietta Square.

In the city of Marietta, Georgia, fall brings about a one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t find anywhere else.

Scarecrows builders are urged to use a specific theme for their scarecrows, whether that be the group’s personality, Marietta’s history, or a historic Marietta figure.

All your group needs to do is pay a $25 registration fee to the City of Marietta, and then start decorating!

Visitors to Marietta who don’t participate in the competition, still get to enjoy the festivities by seeing all the scarecrows made.
