Washington’s skies have been pretty smoky this summer, but it won’t be long before they’re clear and blue once again. And when the time comes when the smoke has cleared and it’s safe to travel again, you should head straight to one of our beautiful scenic overlooks and take in the views. We highly recommend the Washington Pass Overlook in the North Cascades.
To reach the Washington Pass Overlook, you’ll turn onto NF-500 from Highway 20.

If you’re feeling adventurous, there are numerous hiking trails near the overlook that offer similar stunning views.
