Utah is just full of charming little towns, and each is unique in its own way. Here’s a little town that offers some of the best outdoor recreation in the state, and we think it might just be the best place in Utah. Take a look:
The tiny town of Marysvale was settled in 1863 when nearby mines producing gold and silver were booming.

You’ll find it nestled right next to the Fishlake National Forest, along I-89 in Piute County.
Today, the town has fewer than 500 residents. It’s far from a booming metropolis, but Marysvale has a lot to offer.

Marysvale is a Mecca for ATV enthusiasts who love to explore the Piute ATV Trail.

The main trail is around 275 miles long, but it branches out for more than 900 miles through Utah’s countryside, and though it goes through many small towns, most people consider Marysvale to be the gateway to the trail.

One day isn’t nearly enough to explore everything that Marysvale has to offer. Stay overnight at Moore’s Old Pine Inn, which was built in 1882, and is said by some to even have a resident ghost or two. It’s located at 110 S. Main Street.
