Out where the ocean meets the sky, Wildwood State Park is a secluded sandy beach in the small town of Wading River.

Wildwood State Park is home to the largest campground on Long Island, with hundreds of sites available between April and October where you’ll be just steps away from beautiful views like this.

With miles of sandy beach to explore, even on Wildwood’s most crowded days, you’ll still have plenty of space to sprawl out along this gorgeous area of the park.

Between June 23rd and September 3rd, you’ll find the beach open for swimming and equipped with lifeguards from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

Down along the sandy beach, you’ll find a patio that overlooks the water and will give you even more elevated views.

This also happens to be the same spot where you can find the park’s concession stand, with picnic tables out on the patio as well so you can eat up here before heading back down to the water.
