Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Oz Garden in Mapleton, Illinois, the Wizard of Oz Festival will astound and amaze. Follow the Yellow Brick Road through Dorothy’s classic tale.

Dress up like your favorite character and meet with actors representing Dorothy, Glinda the Good Witch, the Wicked Witch of the West, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, and the Scarecrow.

Activities include puppet shows, magic shows, trivia contests, a costume parade, and a petting zoo.

Additional fun things to do during this one-day event include hay rides, a dunk tank, and a bounce house. There will also be concessions available all day long.

Oz Garden is open daily from 8 a.m. to dusk and features year-round features like a Yellow Brick Road, Dorothy’s house, a haunted forest, and other things to remind you of the movie.

Travel to Munchkinland for this single-day celebration you’ll never forget. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and children between the ages of 3 and 12. Children under age 3 will be admitted for free.
