You Can Experience The Golden Age Of Flying For Free This Weekend

Have you ever wanted to cruise through the skies surrounded by the glitz and glamor of the golden age of travel? Now, you can. Sort of.

Lufthansa Airlines is hosting a one-day event in New York City that will allow visitors to virtually slip into a seat on board a 1950s Super Constellation. Nicknamed the “Super Connie,” this was the first-ever luxury transatlantic flight.

This “Fly Through Time” event is free and open to the public. Check it out on Sunday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Duarte Square (6th Ave. and Grand St. in Soho).
