Hanny’s was built as a three-story department store in 1947 and it brought modern architecture into the Southwestern city with its international style.

In 2008, the building reopened as Hanny’s, a restaurant and bar that still maintains the feel of an upscale department store.

If you take the time to wander around the building, you’ll find the old elevator shaft that is now empty and covered with a thick layer of glass.
