Hiding out in Colorado Springs is the beautiful Helen Hunt Falls; a 35-foot-tall waterfall that is as historic as it is lovely.

Located in North Cheyenne Cañon Park, Helen Hunt Falls was named in honor of activist, poet, and humanitarian Helen Hunt Jackson, which brings in not only outdoor enthusiasts, but also history buffs from all around.

Helen Hunt Falls is located inside North Cheyenne Cañon Park (3440 N Cheyenne Canyon Rd.) and is open May 1st through October 1st from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and November 1st through April 30th from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
