In 2019, Natural Habitat will introduce a new event to their lineup - Safari America: Yellowstone Country. This unique safari tour will be the country’s very first zero-waste adventure.
Jerry and Pat Donaho/Flickr In an effort to eliminate the need to send waste materials to an incinerator or landfill, this trip will take visitors on an 8-day tour and return with only enough waste to fit inside a small container. Adventurers will be provided with a zero-waste supply kit that comes with reusable items like cutlery, water bottles, tote bags, and more. The goal of the trip is to divert 99% or more of all waste produced on this adventure.
